I am racing out to a bookstore to get this book - and copies for a few mom friends as well! Something I'm still working on re: self compassion but I am getting better at is accepting the house is going to be a mess and have piles of laundry, dishes, etc. around MOST of the time. I didn't really do anything particular to get to this place besides just living in it for a few months until I got a little more used to it, but now that I have its easier to accept.
